What we collect

We process the account details needed to identify your Fan Passport, the profile and sports preferences you choose, and activity such as Yaps, reactions, rooms, reports, predictions and Yap Points. Mobile numbers or email addresses are collected only when the relevant sign-in or recovery service is securely connected and you choose to use it.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate your account, deliver conversations and match features, calculate participation records, enforce Fair Play, prevent abuse, provide support and improve service reliability.

Who receives it

Information is shared only with service providers needed to run YipeeYap, meet legal or safety obligations, or protect people and the platform. We do not sell personal information. AI assistance receives minimised context with personal details removed; trained people make moderation decisions.

Your control

You can change profile preferences, mute or block fans, report content and request help with your account. Production retention and deletion periods will be published before public launch and applied consistently.

Your Fan Passport

Keep your account secure and provide accurate recovery details. You must be old enough to use the service under applicable law; where required, a parent or guardian must approve a minor’s use.

Your content

You keep ownership of your original Yaps. By posting, you allow YipeeYap to display, moderate and technically process that content for the operation and promotion of the service. Do not post material you do not have the right to share.

Predictions and Yap Points

Predictions are entertainment features based on verified sports information when available. Yap Points recognise participation and have no cash value. YipeeYap is not a betting or gambling service.

Availability and enforcement

Live data, rooms and other features may be delayed, paused or unavailable. We may remove content or restrict accounts to protect fans, comply with law or enforce these rules. Significant decisions include a reason and an appeal route where appropriate.

• Debate the action, not a person’s humanity. No targeted harassment, hateful abuse, dehumanising language or discrimination.
• No threats or glorification of harm.Credible threats, incitement, stalking and doxxing can lead to an immediate Straight Red and safety escalation.
• Protect children and vulnerable people.Sexual exploitation, grooming or abusive content is prohibited and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
• Keep competition honest. No impersonation, scams, coordinated manipulation, spam or attempts to interfere with predictions and Yap Points.
• Respect privacy and rights.Do not expose another person’s private information or upload content you lack permission to share.

Cards and appeals

A Yellow Card warns and removes a foul Yap. A Red Card temporarily restricts participation. A Straight Red addresses severe abuse or safety risk. Context and evidence are reviewed, every action is recorded, and eligible decisions can be appealed.
